The Junior Room have been busy with their Arctic and Winter projects. Their pieces of writing are very informative and everyone enjoyed reading them and finding out more about the Arctic.
Lots of amazing Art and Craft emerged from the Junior Room. They did a wonderful job and should be very proud of their creations.
Some activities we have completed recently: Friends for Life – We finished this programme with a party. 2. Baking birthday cakes. A monthly treat! 3. Science activities – Sound and Electricity. We made electrical circuits: We made sound bangers and observed how sound travels through different materials (glass, water etc)
On January 25th Tina came and did lots of work with us on earthquakes and volcanoes. We learned about tectonic plates and we got to look at rocks and fossils. They were very old, Tina explained to us how each one was formed. We completed different timelines, these helped us understand about all the different…
On January 24th the Red Kettle Theater Group visited our school. We went to the Red Hall and each of us got the opportunity to preform in the drama “The Story that everybody was in”. It was, as always, so much fun. The story was about a King (Christopher) who wanted to hand his kingdom…
